Gameplay Overview

Merge Planets Into Bigger Bodies

Planet Merge asks you to pair identical celestial bodies while the growing pile stays fully contained inside the bubble. Two matching planets that touch will fuse into one bigger body, which instantly rewrites how much room the board still offers. Gravity switches on the moment a planet leaves your hand, so extra collisions and chain reactions could follow without warning. Every fresh arrival therefore shapes both the move you make right now and the merges that stay possible later on.

Ten celestial bodies wait to be unlocked across Sputnik's long cosmic journey. Reaching the larger planets takes one successful combination after another, each step edging closer to the final target of becoming the Sun. Larger bodies must claim more room as well, so late-game choices grow far more demanding. This is the real test: keep merging planets steadily without letting the board fill up completely.

Control Gravity And Placement

Placement decides a lot about what unfolds once your planet drops into the bubble. Every launch angle changes the way celestial bodies bump and settle after gravity starts dragging them downward. A well-judged drop could spark a helpful collision or line up matching planets for a merge you plan two moves ahead. Sloppy placement does the opposite, eating valuable space and leaving future combinations much harder to set up.

The bubble boundary places one more hard limit on every single move you make. Planets must stay safely within that edge, since a single escape ends your run on the spot. Once big celestial bodies start crowding the area, holding open enough room for the next arrival gets steadily tougher.
